Nate's Naughty Nymph [The Doms of Club Mystique 5] (Siren Publishing Classic) Page 8

He leaned down and kissed her. When he rose up, her arms were free. She watched as he adjusted his cock and buttoned his jeans. Puzzled, disbelieving what he was doing, she twisted and watched as he released her waist and ankles. A moment later he wrapped her in a blanket. A male sub offered to clean the area. Nate nodded his consent before he carried her toward the table where he’d left their belongings. Nymph scrambled to understand what was happening. When she realized he was withholding her orgasm, a sob of sexual frustration left her lips, followed by another. Nate’s arms tightened around her as he sat down and cuddled her on his lap.

She wanted him to hold her but she also wanted to punch his lights out. She sniffled and buried her face in the space beneath his chin.

Nate patted her shoulder and rubbed her back. “If we had time I’d let you have a do-over but we don’t have the time.”

Nymph rubbed her nose on the blanket. “What? What’s a do-over?”

“When I gave the boys a chore and they didn’t do it right I’d give them a chance to do it again—a do-over. If they didn’t get it right the second time they’d earn a punishment.”

Nymph sat up but she focused on his chest. “What kind of punishment?”

Nate laughed. “Well, certainly not the kind you just received, but then you’re my naughty Nymph.” He laughed again and kissed her nose. “The boys were given a chore none of them wanted to do—washing dishes for a week.”

She squirmed on his lap as a trickle of moisture tickled her swollen labia. “I’ll wash dishes for a month for an orgasm. How about it?”

“Nope. No orgasm. Next time you’ll remember to stay in position.”

She pouted and he frowned then tipped her back on one arm and slammed his mouth over hers. His teeth ate at her lips before his tongue swept into her mouth. He explored it for a moment, nipped the bottom lip, and pulled her up and off his lap. “Every time you stick out that bottom lip I’m going to bite it.”

Nymph licked the lip in question and held onto the blanket until Nate tugged it away from her and shook out her blouse. “Hold out your arms.” It took him less than five seconds to have her in the blouse and the three buttons done up. She pulled on the tight black skirt and tucked the blouse into it. Last, she picked up the black frame glasses and propped them on her nose.

Nate scanned her from the top of her curls to the black stilettos on her feet and grinned. “If I hadn’t been there I’d never believe that ten minutes ago you were begging me to let you come.”

  “I didn’t beg. I requested. There’s a difference.”

He grinned. “Sweetheart, all those desperate little noises count as begging.”

“Not in my book. Begging is done with words.”

Nate looked behind her and she turned to find Dirk standing a foot away from her, grinning.

“It’s a long flight and there’s a bedroom on the jet.” Dirk looked her over then glanced at his watch. “We’ve got clothes that will fit both of you, and several of your weapons are still in my gun safe.”

Nate took Nymph’s arm and led her toward the door. “Great. I hate long flights with nothing to do.”

“Nate,” Nymph said, her voice unsure.

“Shh. It will be okay. Trust me.”

  Chapter Six

Nymph stepped into the clothes she’d found on the end of the bed then jerked on the boots and tied the laces. She slammed the hat on her head, stuffed her hair beneath the rim, and strapped on the gun she’d found with the clothes. A knife went into a sheath on her ankle. Another one went into a sheath in the small of her back. After one last glance around the flying torture chamber, she opened the door. The jet was quiet. Light flowed through the open door at the far end. She stomped toward it and stepped out into blazing heat and humidity. Thick jungle lined the dirt landing strip, and the buzzing of insects in the shade of the trees made her skin itch.

Ten yards away, two jeeps were parked on the shady side of a run-down building with a rusty tin roof. Nate stood with his back to her. She glared at him and sent an imaginary rock flying toward his head. The thought of the clunk it would make almost made her smile until she remembered the time he’d spent with her on the jet.

As soon as they’d boarded, he’d taken her to the bedroom where he’d played with her until she’d begged him to let her come. He’d withheld her orgasm until she’d been speechless and whimpering. Then, the bastard had asked her what the whimpering and whining meant and she’d been forced to admit it was begging. He’d laughed then given her the best orgasm of her life. While she’d still been panting to catch her breath he’d patted her on the bottom and told her to go to sleep. The last thing she remembered was his grin as he left her alone in the bedroom.

She slipped a pair of dark glasses over her eyes and jumped to the ground. Nate turned and sent her a self-satisfied smile before beckoning to her to join them. She walked slowly just to irritate him. A frown appeared on his face and she knew he got the message. When she was within touching distance, he reached out and tugged her to his side. His fingers slid into the waistband of her pants and rubbed over her sore ass.

Miles, Hugh, and Doolin moved in around her and she realized they were shielding her with their bodies. She started to remind them that she expected to be treated like an equal member of the team. Instead, she glanced at the map on the hood of the jeep and decided to let it go for now.

Orin leaned on the other side of the jeep and tapped a point on the map with the tip of his knife. “If we follow this road there’s an overgrown trail that ends at the top of a small rise. It overlooks the villa. We’ll set up camp there and watch to see who comes and goes.”

Nate picked up a picture of a yacht. “How often does Rolando use this?”

“We don’t know. Whenever he comes here the yacht and several heavily armed SUVs always show up at the same time. There’s no telling which one he’s using, if any. Most of the time he doesn’t show.”

Nate picked up a photo of two teenage boys. “Carlos and Roberto may be young but they’re both killers and their girlfriends tend to disappear. Permanently.”

Orin folded the map and slipped it into a backpack. “Hugh and Miles, you’re riding with me. Nate and Nymph, you’ll go with Doolin. Stay sharp.”

They drove for two hours before turning off onto an overgrown trail. It led them into the jungle for another hour. After camouflaging the jeeps, they hiked for two hours to their destination. Nymph, Nate, and Orin set up the camp while Miles moved into a position to monitor the villa. Hugh volunteered to take the first watch while Doolin just simply disappeared. Nymph figured he’d been sent to watch the villa from another position as the house blocked their view of the dock.

Nate grabbed two MREs and nodded at a fallen log at the edge of the camp. Nymph sat down on it, and he straddled the log before showing her the meals. “Cheese tortellini or beef stew?”

Nymph chose the stew. While it heated she shifted her weight from her left buttock to her right. Nate hid his amusement. He knew her ass had to be a little sore from the spanking he’d given her at the club and then on the jet. “I’ll rub more cream on your ass before we stand watch.”

  “I can do it myself.”

Nate took a bite and contemplated her mood. He took a sip of water. “Aftercare is my pleasure.”

Nymph shifted again. “I think I’ve pleased you enough for one day.”

Nate set his meal on the ground next to his bottle of water. “Look at me.”

  “We’re on duty.”

“Do you remember what I said about communication?”

She glanced at him. “You want to communicate? Fine, then you should know I’ve spent the last five hours plotting your downfall.”

Nate resisted the urge to smile as an overwhelming wave of relief rushed through him. He’d wondered how she’d handle their first disagreement and now he knew. She wouldn’t pout and then sneak around with another man behind his back. Not his Nymph. Nope, she
d tackle him head-on. “What did you think would happen when you challenged me at the club?”

“I didn’t mean to challenge you. Not really. I was just—upset.”

“Why were you upset?” He caught her aggravated glance before she focused on the leaf debris between her feet.

  “You know why.”

“Tell me anyway and look at me while you do it.”

She crossed her arms over her chest. “Because I needed to come and you wouldn’t let me.”

“I see, and why didn’t you get to come?” Nate stared into her eyes. They still had a hint of anger. Nymph’s bottom lip puffed out and he leaned forward and nipped it before she could stop him. He grabbed her hands and gave them a little tug. “Nymph, look at me and tell me why I withheld your orgasm.” She began to lower her eyes but he squeezed her hands and drew her attention back to him.

She frowned. “Because I moved and you’d told me not to, but you don’t know how hard it is to be still. It’s torture.”

  “Define torture.”

“You know what it is,” she said, then jerked her hands from his. When he didn’t respond, she crossed her arms over her chest and glared at him. “Doing something to harm another person.”

A masculine brow flicked up. “I harmed you? Should I take you to the emergency room?”

“No, of course not, but you know what I mean.”

Nate reached out and ran his hand down her cheek. “Everything I do to you I’ve had done to me, Nymph. I know how hard it is to be still when the need to come is overwhelming. You did very well. Better than I did the first time it was done to me.” Nymph smiled, almost as if she relished the idea of him suffering. “You pleased me.”

She frowned again. “What about me? Don’t I get to be pleased, too?”

“I did please you. On the jet.” He saw the glint of anger before she turned away and realized that was the root of the problem. “You’re angry about what happened on the jet.”

She glanced at him from the corner of her eye before she nodded her chin toward the tents. “I have to work with these men.”

Nate sighed. “Nymph, do you know what time it was when we arrived at the jet?”

  “No.”

“Did you see anyone on the jet when I carried you to the bedroom?”

  “No,” she mumbled.

“We got to the airport at eleven. I spent forty minutes with you. The others arrived after I left you sleeping.”

  “Oh. I thought they knew.”

“They’d already seen you at the club. What difference would it have made?”

She shrugged. “It just does? The club is, well, a sort of safe zone, but work is different.” She glanced around. “This is work.”

Nate gathered their empty meal trays, handed them to her, and picked her up. “Okay. When we’re on duty, no playing.”

Nymph dropped her head to his shoulder. “If I wasn’t so tired and nobody was watching, I’d tell you not to carry me when we’re working.”

Nate chuckled. “So, when we’re flying home after a mission would you consider that off duty?”

  “Well, I’m n—”

“Before you answer you should know the bedroom on the jet is soundproof.” He set her down so he could open the tent.

Nymph ducked through the opening. “We’ll see.”

Nate chuckled. “When a woman says that she means no, but when she says maybe she means she’ll think about it. Say maybe, baby.”

  Nymph smiled. “We’ll see.”

Three nights later, covered in a rain poncho and branches, Nymph yawned with boredom while she and Nate watched the villa. Next to her, Nate was so still she wondered if he’d gone to sleep. The ground beneath her was spongy and the smell of rotting leaves and mold made her want to sneeze. She resisted the urge and concentrated on a large bug that crawled toward her. She waited until it was about a half inch from her index finger then flicked it away.

“Be still,” Nate said, his voice low.

  “It was crawling toward me.”

  “Wussie.”

Nymph smothered her laughter but a snort escaped. “Very funny.” She scanned the villa again. “How long have you known the McCabes?”

  “A long time.”

“Did you know them when they met Bridget?”

  “Nope.”

Nymph waited to see if he would say anything more. When he didn’t, she pressed her elbow into his side. “So, how’d they meet her?”

  “I never asked them.”

“So, what did Dirk and Sabre mean when they asked you about the naughty double agent?”

“Why are you asking so many questions?”

“I’m trying to take my mind off the fact I’m soaking wet and there are bugs crawling all over me.”

“Get over it. We’ve got company.”

Nymph looked toward the villa and spotted the lights of a yacht approaching the inlet. A minute later a chopper came in low right over them, and circled the house twice before landing on the south lawn. At the same time three SUVs approached the security gates from the north.

“Shit. Where’d the damn chopper come from?” Nate glanced at her. “It’s a damn good thing we’re under these bushes.” A moment later he mumbled into the mic and received two clicks in reply. “Hugh’s on the way. You watch the SUVs. I’ll watch the chopper. Orin has the dock covered.”

Nymph focused on the line of vehicles that pulled to a stop with the middle vehicle lined up with the front door. Car doors opened on the front and back SUV and two men climbed out. They surrounded the middle vehicle. She zoomed in and saw two men step from it. One of them opened the back door. A taller man moved into sight. As he moved away from the vehicle the six guards surrounded him. Nymph snorted. “You said this guy was smart. If he’s the guy in the middle he’s the tallest guy in the group. Easy target.”

“I said he’s dangerous and clever. Not smart. There’s a difference.” Nate grunted. “I’ve got the same situation by the chopper. Four men surrounding a taller one. The pilot is staying put.”

“Maybe Mendez is masquerading as one of the guards.”

“Could be. He’s done things like that in the past.” Nate looked around Nymph as Hugh crawled up beside them. “When did he get a chopper?”

“We’ve never had a chopper show up before. Maybe it’s one of his associates.” Hugh scanned the villa for a moment. “What do you think?”

“We think he might be disguising himself as one of the guards,” Nymph said.

“If he’s even here,” Nate added.

Hugh grunted. “Let me know if we get any movement, otherwise Miles will take over at five.” A moment later he was gone.

Nymph settled in for a long night. A bank of clouds drifted over the moon as a few drops of rain hit her back, followed by a deluge. The hood of the poncho protected her face and torso but her legs were soaking wet within seconds. With any luck, the bugs she’d felt crawling on her earlier would drown before they got the chance to bite her. She dug her elbows into the muck and eased forward an inch to adjust her view. A few shadows passed by the lit windows.

Orin’s voice came over the radio. “I’ve got eyes on Carlos and Roberto. They’re on the covered patio and there are four females waving at them from the yacht. I can see into the den. Twelve males just entered it. One of them is our old friend Rios. He has four men with him. He’s shouting and waving his hands.”

Nate activated his mic. “Any signs of Mendez?”

“No. Looks like he stood Rios up. Rios and his men are preparing to leave.” After a few moments of silence Orin came back on the radio. “Carlos Mendez just joined them and took a file from the desk and handed it to Rios.” Another pause. “Rios is reading it. No, wait, now he’s ranting again. He threw the file at Carlos and his men have their guns out. They’re leaving.”

Nate waited a couple minutes. “I’ve picked them up on the south side of the house moving toward the chopper.”

Nymph breathed a sigh of frustration as Rios and his men left. “They sure didn’t stay long.”

Nate glanced at her. “I’d like to know what was in that folder.”

Nymph zoomed in on the front door. “I have six men leaving the house through the front door. They’re taking the three vehicles on the drive.”

Nate scanned the front of the house. “The one who stayed behind just walked into the living room. “Orin, you sure Mendez wasn’t with them?”

  “Yes.”

“What did they do with the file Rios threw?”

“One of the men picked it up and put it on the desk. Carlos and his brother are joining the women now. Looks like they’re going to have a few lines of coke before the party begins.”

Nate grunted. “Bastards knew Mendez wasn’t going to show up.”

“Are the guards still at the front gate?” Orin asked.

“Yup,” Nate said, “and it looks like the last guy is making himself comfortable in the living room. He’s knocking back Mendez’s good whiskey while he reads the newspaper.”

“I’m going in to get a look at that file,” Orin said.

“Wait until I can back you up.” Nate kissed Nymph. “Stay here and let us know if anyone else shows up.”

She reached into the only dry pocket she had left and pulled out a small camera. “Take this and get some shots of the papers, and Nate, be careful.”

He grinned then scooted back and disappeared into the rain.

Orin scrolled through the pictures Nate had taken of the papers in the file before he passed the laptop to Hugh.

“Waiting around for Mendez to show up is a waste of time,” Nate said. “We need to pursue him. Hound him until he gets careless and makes a mistake.”

“We have to find him first,” Orin replied. “Dozens of agencies have been pursuing him for years. He always manages to slip away.”

“Nate got close to him when he killed his brother,” Nymph said.
